WITH OUR CLIENTS

Jonathan and Isaac have been working together for over 10 years, forming a cohesive, experienced, and efficient team. During these years, they have had the opportunity to photograph people from all corners of the world, of different ages and backgrounds. What unites all these people is their shyness and lack of experience in front of a camera. Thanks to this experience, Jonathan and Isaac have specialized in handling people during photo sessions, making them feel comfortable and creating a natural atmosphere. When necessary, they can patiently direct the situation, constantly providing advice to achieve the best possible result. Customer feedback and reviews on the Studio JIPH’s Google profile are a testament to their ability to make people feel at ease in front of the camera and create an unforgettable photography experience.

EQUIPEMENT

Our equipment is always cutting-edge, as we use the best camera bodies and lenses on the market. However, it’s not the cameras that take the photos, it’s us photographers. That’s why we prefer to use fixed lenses: they provide higher image quality and force us to move constantly. Our zoom is our feet. This stimulates our creativity and allows us to capture moments and situations from unique angles and perspectives, ensuring a diverse and surprising end result. We also use flash, an essential tool. We almost entirely use it off-camera to avoid the flattening effect that frontal lighting can create. Not only does it help us overcome challenging low-light situations, but it also allows us to express our creativity during the reception and dancing. With off-camera flash, we can create evocative atmospheres and add an artistic touch to our photos.

The shot

Our deep understanding of the camera allows us to make conscious choices to realize our artistic vision. A key element is the right use of apertures, which determines the atmosphere and tone of each shot. With wide-open apertures, we create an aura of solemnity and elegance, highlighting the details. On the other hand, when we want to capture the essence of social moments, action, and movement, achieving a documentary-style result, we prioritize closed apertures. We love pushing the limits, creating evocative silhouettes and emphasizing colors and lights in situations of high contrast and saturation, such as breathtaking sunsets. Our experience and expertise in the field enable us to master the equipment and fully exploit its capabilities, ensuring high-quality results.

Post production

After the on-field work, we take the necessary time to select and meticulously edit each image. We discard similar ones and focus on capturing the expressions, strong lines, and lighting in the images. We do not use third-party-created filters. Our goal is to respect the natural colors as much as possible, as we want your photo album to reflect the reality of your wedding. Maintaining the image as natural as possible is important to us for another reason: in the digital age, anyone can apply a filter and create a highly personal aesthetic taste, but having the images with true colors allows you to modify them according to your preferences. This means that our clients can use our photos in various ways, adapting them to their individual needs and styles. Our attention to detail and post-production skills enable us to create comprehensive and visually pleasing photo galleries, with effective storytelling that will make you relive your wedding every time you look at them.

Black and White

We absolutely love black and white photography. It’s an important and meaningful choice for all types of photography, including weddings. We use black and white to create a greater emotional impact, to highlight the expressions and emotions of the subjects, and to make the images timeless. Good lighting is a crucial factor in deciding whether a photo will be in black and white or not. It’s not just about desaturating the colors; most of the black and white images we capture were intended to be in black and white right from the shot. During post-production, we give them special attention, always striving to maximize their quality and impact. However, don’t worry, every black and white photo we deliver will also be accompanied by a color copy for maximum flexibility.
